11th Street Dockside in Port Royal, South Carolina

I may be kind of partial to 11th Street Dockside, a local seafood restaurant in Beaufort County, South Carolina, because I work there, but if you are looking for fresh, local seafood, great service, seaside atmosphere, and an all-around wonderful experience then you will want to visit on your next trip to the lowcountry. 11th Street Dockside is located on the Battery Creek and overlooks shrimp-boat docks where the restaurant receives most of its' local seafood. The atmoshpere is casual with many patrons docking their boats during the summer to catch a wonderful dinner before heading home. The menu at 11th Street Dockside is moderatley priced, ranging from approximatley $15-$30 and offers anything from local favorites like shrimp and grits and oyster rockafella to juicy ribeye steaks and jalepeno stuffed shrimp. There is also a seperate menu for children.  The restaurant has a small bar and lounge area for those who are waiting for their table or would just like to enjoy a cocktail. To get the most out of your experience take that drink outside and enjoy it on the wrap around porch or many chairs set up to line the banks of the Battery Creek! 11th Street Dockside does not take reservations because of its high volume, especially during the summer season, but you can call ahead for parties of 6 or more. Reguardless if your celebrating a special occasion or just want to enjoy a special evening with friends or loved-ones 11th Street Dockside is the place to dine! Please visit the 11th Street Dockside Restaurant website to view the menu and for other information: http://www.11thstreetdockside.com/
